About these terms
These terms govern your use of dataYard (the “Service”) operated from Ghana. By placing an order, you agree to them. We may update them from time to time — the “Last updated” date above will reflect any changes.
The service
dataYard lets you buy mobile data bundles for MTN, Telecel and AirtelTigo and have them delivered to a Ghanaian phone number. We purchase the bundles wholesale from a third-party supplier and re-deliver them to the recipient phone you provide at checkout.
Eligibility
You must be the lawful owner of the payment method used and at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian. The recipient phone number must be a valid Ghanaian mobile number on a supported network.
Pricing & payment
All prices are shown in Ghanaian Cedis (GHS) and include any markup we apply. Payment is processed by Paystack — we never see your card or PIN. By submitting payment you authorize us to charge the amount shown on the checkout page.
Delivery
Most bundles are delivered within minutes of payment confirmation. Delivery times can vary based on network conditions, supplier availability and the number you provided. The phone number you enter at checkout is the number that receives the bundle — please double check it before paying. We are not responsible for bundles delivered to a number you entered incorrectly.
Refunds & failed deliveries
If our system cannot deliver the bundle after retrying, we will automatically refund the full amount through Paystack to your original payment method. Refunds typically arrive within 1–3 business days depending on your bank or Mobile Money provider. We do not offer refunds for bundles successfully delivered to the number you entered, even if that number was incorrect.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any illegal purpose, (b) attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, (c) use stolen payment instruments, or (d) buy bundles in bulk for resale without our prior written consent.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Privacy
We collect only what we need to deliver your order: the recipient phone number, your email, and the order metadata. We share the phone number with our wholesale supplier so they can deliver the bundle. We do not sell your data.
Changes to the service
We may add, change, or remove bundles, networks, or features at any time. Wholesale prices are set by our supplier and we adjust retail prices to follow them.
